Donovan Johnson

When Donovan's father began taking piano lessons as an adult, Donovan, at the young age of two, took an immediate interest. Sitting on the piano bench, playing melodies by ear, Donovan would continue his fascination with the instrument until the age of seven. It was at this time in his life when his parents would decide to enroll him in private piano lessons.

Over the course of eleven years Donovan would practice persistently, participating in numerous county and state fairs, competitions and recitals that were held in the state of iowa.  Two performances would take place on NBC television before even graduating from high school, and ultimately making a decision to devote his life's work to the art of making music.
